Our Annual BBQ
August brings our annual BBQ on August 17th at the Gwynne Vaughan Park on Hope River Road. David, our webmaster, will be the chef again this year. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be supplied. Please let us know if you and your client will be coming 604-793-7204 as we need to know how much food to buy. Also, if you or your client would rather not eat hot dogs or burgers feel free to bring whatever meat you want and we’ll be pleased to cook it for you on the grill.
What to bring? Yourself and your client and a salad or desert or whatever you want to eat other than burgers or hotdogs which are provided. Also, something to sit on would be good too.

My trip to Israel
by Susan Houle.
-We experienced an EARTHQUAKE. Very exciting indeed.
-We saw and heard a battle taking place in Quneitra, Syria. Very sad.
-We spent time in Palestinian Authority controlled Bethlehem. It was graduation day for high school students and they were celebrating in the streets.
-We attended a Palestinian church there. A bittersweet experience.
-We spent a day with holocaust survivors. AMAZING!
-We shopped in the market places of the Old City. We bartered. My daughter was called “a tough lady” by more than one shopkeeper. ??
There was also a marriage offer on behalf of a nephew. ??
Hmmmm… very interesting!
-We had a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We all stayed in the boat.
What an adventure!
Now I am glad to be back in Canada. There is no place like home.
